MY name's Andy and I have been a teacher of MFL for the past 30 years, having taught both French and German to GCSE and A Level as well as some KS3 Spanish and GCSE Dutch along the way. All the resources I publish here are things I use with my own classes and think could be useful to others.

Perfect tense revision in French

(28)
a revision sheet with a series of practice exercises building up in difficulty, including a few translation sentences, ready for the new GCSE. When I used this, I cut up the various exercises instead of feeding them the whole document (Yr9 group) but for more advanced students, they should be able to cope with it in its entirety.

Higher Level writing checklist

Higher Level writing checklist

(8)
A student checklist for assignment and extended writing for higher level French. A handy tool for improving student-writing skills. I ask students to complete the left hand column and hand it in with their essay. I fill in the right hand columns & add comments for them to rewrite the work.
